The results are in on the 2006 Recruiting Makes Cents Program. Eleven drivers earned recruiting bonus money ranging from $7.51 to $692.24. Bonus money totaling $1,995.92 was paid for 199,592 miles driven by referred drivers.

BMT driver Mike Ford led the pack of eager recruiters earning bonus money for three referrals.

Recruiting Makes Cents is a driver recruiting incentive that pays the recruiting driver a penny a mile for every mile that a referred driver drives for as long as both drivers remain employed by the company.

If you refer an applicant that meets our hiring criteria and that applicant is hired. You will earn a penny a mile for every mile that new driver drives for as long as you’re both with the company. You will start to earn bonus money with the first mile they drive. If the driver you referred drives 100,000 miles per year for 10 years you will have earned $10,000 in bonus money for just that one driver. Recruit 10 drivers that drive 100,000 miles per year and you could pay off your house. The earning potential is unlimited.

Referral Program:

Our drivers can earn a bonus by referring a driver. If that applicant is hired, the referring driver will earn a penny a mile for EVERY mile the new driver drives for as long as both drivers are with the company. Example: If you refer a driver and that driver logs the average 110,000 miles per year, the referring driver will earn $1,100.00 for that referral year. The driver who brings an applicant to the company will start earning that one cent per mile immediately and if the new driver chooses not to stay with the company, the referring driver will still get whatever he/she had earned for that applicant up to the point when they left the company. The referral bonus will be paid annually. The referring driver must be employed with PMTG at the time the bonuses are paid. It’s a win-win! The more people you recruit, the more money you could make! In order for the referring driver to earn the bonus a referral card must be turned into the recruiting department at the Okemos office. Referral cards can be picked up at any terminal or maintenance shop and are available at the Okemos office.

• You recruit 1 driver, who stays for 1 year and drives 110,000 miles you will earn $1,100.
• You recruit 5 drivers that stay for 1 year and they each drive110,000 miles per year, you will earn $5,500.
• You recruit 10 drivers and they stay for 5 years, they each drive 110,000 miles per year and you will earn an additional $55,000 over a 5 year period.
